Elementary Education Furniture Brightens Classrooms in KCPS

George Melcher Elementary School, in the Kansas City Public School District, was in need of a refresh to brighten classrooms for their 21st Century learners. Although the school and district was working with a tight budget, Freedom Interiors was able to provide them numerous solutions to outfit their classrooms and meet each of their individual needs.

Once Freedom had used value engineering to offset a majority of the costs, they opted to partner with HON, a manifacture Freedom has had a long standing relationship with, to provide the school with even more classroom furniture.

Through a donation made by HON and Freedom Interiors, George Melcher Elementary School was able to furnish two additional classrooms. Both Freedom and HON knew they wanted to give the rooms as many solutions as possible to give students and teachers multiple options and uses.

The HON donation classrooms were filled with SmartLink seating, Build Trapezoid Desks and Revel stools. Each of them in a different, correlating color to give a vibrant and youthful look to the space.

Other classrooms were funished with Academia pieces, such as the Petal Desk, Inspiration School chair and Squircle-Active Seating stool.

Freedom Interiors also provided solutions for the front office reception area, as well as the nurse’s and principal’s offices and conference room.

The conference room was furnished with an Offices To Go (OTG) conference table and OTG Low Back Luxhide Tilter chairs.

The reception area was also home to Offices To Go furniture, using their Superior Laminate Desking and Armless Single Seats.
